**Objects:** THE CHARITABLE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AT SCHOOLS IN NORTH WEST LEICESTER BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES NOT REQUIRED TO BE PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY.  IN PARTICULAR BY:-1. SUPPORTING ACTIVITIES FOR THOSE CHILDREN WHO HAVE A SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC DISADVANTAGE AND WHO WOULD BENEFIT FROM AN EXTENSION OF THE NORMAL STATUTORY SERVICES PROVIDED BY SCHOOLS IN THE NORTH WEST AREA OF LEICESTER;2. WORKING WITH VARIOUS LOCAL SERVICE AGENCIES TO ENHANCE THE CURRENT PROVISION FOR FAMILY SUPPORT AND PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR PARENTS TO RAISE THEIR OWN EXPECTATIONS AND SUPPORT THE ASPIRATIONS OF THEIR CHILDREN; AND3. HELPING TO IDENTIFY AND REMOVE BARRIERS TO LEARNING AND ACHIEVEMENT AND PROMOTING INDEPENDENCE AND SELF HELP AMONGST YOUNG PEOPLE ATTENDING SCHOOLS IN THE LOCAL COMMUNITY.

**Activities:** We support disadvantaged families and children who would benefit from an extension of statutory services provided by schools in Leicester by helping to offer facilities beyond the normal school day. We aim to help parents raise expectations to support childrenÔÇÖs aspirations, identify and remove barriers to learning and achievement and promote independence amongst children and young people.
