CHARITY COMMISSION FOR ENGLAND AND WALES Trustees, Annual Report for the period From 1 June 2023 To 31 May 2024 Charity name: Friends of the Bereaved Families Forum (FBFF) Charity registration number: 1118221 Objectives and Activities SORP referenre Summary of the purposes of the charity as set out in its governing document Para 1.17 To promote racial and religious harmony by advancing education and promoting dialogue and understanding between Muslims and Jews in United Kingdom, Israel and Palestine. To educate the Brttish public regarding the IsraelilPalestinian conflict and to make them aware of the fact that there are people on both sides of the conflict who advocate negotiations and dialogue leading to reconciliation and eace. We support the work of the Parents Circle- Families Forum, a joint IsraelilPalestinian organisation made up of more than 700 families of Palestinians and Israelis all of whom have been bereaved in the conflicts between them. In spite of their losses they renounce violence and advocate dialogue wrth the other side wrth a view to reconciliation and peace. Summary of the main activities in relation to those purposes for the public benefit, in particular, the activities, projects or servi$ identified in the accounts. Para 1.17 and 1.19 In the UK many people support one side or the other in the conflict and are convinced that the other side is not interested in peace. By bringing together on the same platform a Palestinian and an Israeli who have each paid the highest pri in this conflict we aim to show that peace is possible. This work is extremely important in improving relations between Jewish and Muslim communities in the UK. We raise funds to help the Parents Circle- Families Forum in Israel and Palestine to help them build bridges between the two communities, through narrative projects, dialo ue meetin s and other activities. In all our work the Trustees have had regard to the guidance on public benefit issued by the Charty Commission. Statement confirming whether the trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit Para 1.18
