Activities
The charity carries out action to relieve the suffering of animals in need of care, particularly in the areas of animal husbandry, protection of species and their environments, and abolishment of animal testing using peaceful and legal channels. We also work to promote humane behaviour towards animals through education and by providing appropriate care and protection for vulnerable animals.
Objects: A. To Relieve The Suffering Of Animals In Need Of Care And Attention For The Benefit Of The Public And In Particular But Without Prejudice To The Generality Of The Foregoing In The Areas Of Animal Husbandry, The Protection Of Species And Their Environment And Where Suitable And Alternative Methods Are Available To Promote And Encourage The Abolition Of Animal Testing And Experimentation By All Lawful Means;b. To Promote Humane Behaviour Towards Animals By (1) Providing Appropriate Care, Protection, Treatment And Security For Animals Which Are In Need Of Care And Attention By Reason Of Sickness, Maltreatment, Poor Circumstances Or Ill-Treatment And (2) To Educate The Public In All Matters Pertaining To Animal Welfare In General And The Prevention Of Cruelty And Suffering Among Animals, And To Promote Scientific Research In The Area Of Animal Protection And Welfare And To Publish The Useful Results Of That Research.
