Five significant grants were also made to support the Gaza crisis- £25,000 was donated to each of Hoping Foundation, UNICEF, British Red Cross, Save the Children and Palestine Children’s Fund. The funds raised from the Classical Concert for Children by Candlelight in December 2023 were split between two charities: £22,000 was donated to each of Nordoff & Robbins Music Therapy Charity and The Cheam Foundation for bursaries.

Of the 23 grants made, some were repeat grants including about £6,000 to SVG Sailing Association to support sailing camps for youth in the St Vincent & Grenadine islands.

The Foundation and BA Foundation Trading received £20,000 in sponsorship for the Classical Concert by Candlelight (£10,000 from John Armitage Charitable Trust and £10,000 from Sonova AG). And received £6,750 in sponsorship from Raffy Manoukian for the screening of “Someone’s Daughter, Someone’s Son” homelessness film raising funds for Centrepoint. Report to the tn1stee5lmembe￿ of
RYAN ADAMS FOiTNDATIO
On accounts for the years ended
I MARCH 20
HARfrY NO. IJ1786
Set out on pages I
Respective responsibllities of
trustees and examiner
The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not required for tliis year
(under section 43(2) of the Charilies Act 1993 (the Act), as am¢ndcd by
s.28 of the Charities Act ?006) alld that an independent examination is
needed.
It is my r¢sponsibility io:
Examine the accounts (under section 43 of the Act, as amended).
To follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions
given by the Charity CoEnmission (under section 43(7)(b) of the
ACL as amended). And
To stste whether particular n)atters have come to my attention.
Basis of independent
examiner's statement
My examination was caTried out in accordance with GeneTal Directions
given by the charity Commission. An examination Includes a review of the
accounting records kept by the ¢harity and a comparison of the accounts
presenled with those records. It also includes conslderntion of any unusual
items or disclosures in the arrounts, and seeking explanations fro￿ the
trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not
provide all the evidence that would be required in an audiL and
consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the accounts.
Independent exarniner's
statement
In the course of my examination. no matter has come to my attention which
give5 me reasonable cause lo believe that in, any material respect, the
trustees have not met the requirements to ensure that:_
Proper accounting records are kept (in accordance ivith sectioa 41
of the Act) - and
Accounts are prepared which agree with the accounting records
and comply with the accounting requirements of the Act: or to
whiclL in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable
a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached
