**Objects:** 3.  APPLICATION OF INCOMETHE TRUSTEES MUST APPLY THE INCOME OF THE CHARITY IN FURTHERING THE FOLLOWING OBJECTS ("THE OBJECTS").  THE OBJECTS OF THE TRUST SHALL BE TO PROTECT AND PRESERVE HEALTH AND TO RELIEVE POVERTY BY PROVIDING FUNDS TO SUPPORT SICK CHILDREN OR CHILDREN FROM SOCIALLY OR ECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED BACKGROUNDS.

**Activities:** The Angus Lawson Memorial Trust supports projects engaged in alleviating the suffering of children and young people in the UK and overseas. Funding is primarily provided to grassroots projects that have clearly identified objectives where the outcomes can be monitored and evaluated. This ensures a high social return on any investment made by the Trust and its Donors.
