Achievements and performance
Summary ofthe main
achievements of the charity
during the year
Manchester Taoist Centre has gratefully re￿iVed donations from the
public.
New venues were added to the existing offer.
New relationships wrth new venues were established.
l Marketing 8Ctivrties were improved and increased to help grow dasses,
courses and workshops, and to establish new classes.
| Successes have been shared on social media and via email to raise the
profile of the charty and to encourage people to the classes.
Online classes continued to be popular for beneficiaries, and some even
preferred this way of training and leaming to live dasses.
This year has seen an increase in the scale and volume of activities, and
an increase in participant numbers. and the chanty hopes to continue this
progress in the coming year..
Manchester Taoist Centre does nol charge a membership fee. We do not
want to exdude people from joining classes and ￿nef￿.ng from ils
activities. Manchester Taoist Centre encourages those people who can
afford to make donations depending on the value they place on the work
of the charity. In this way. we raised funds through the classes,
workshops and courses njn by Manchester Taoist Centre. The charity is
grateful for the support of all its donors, and wll also seek altemative
funding streams from grant awarding bodies. All volunteers give their
time for free and do not gain financially from the work they do.
