**Objects:** TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN A HERITAGE CENTRE IN THE SMETHWICK AREA OF THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF SANDWELL; TO HELP ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY OF SMETHWICK, IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF PERMANENT AND TRAVELLING EXHIBITIONS AND LECTURES AND OTHER SUCH EDUCATIONAL EVENTS; ALSO TO FURTHER THE INTEREST IN THE HISTORY OF SMETHWICK BY MEANS OF RESEARCH PROJECTS, COLLECTING AND PRESERVING INFORMATION AND ARTEFACTS FOR SHARING WITH THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE.

**Activities:** Our aim is to collect, store, archive and display objects and material connected with Smethwick. This is done by means of education and training in the arts and culture, the environment and conservation and heritage. These activities involve children and young people, the elderly and the general public, Research is also undertaken and sponsored.
