THE OBJECTS THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS (THE OBJECTS) ARE:TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF STUDENTS FROM SCHOOLS AND EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS IN OLDHAM BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF INDIVIDUAL BURSARIES, PRIZE FUNDS OR MENTORING IN ORDER TO ENCOURAGE THEM TO IMPROVE THEIR EDUCATIONAL PERFORMANCE AND ACADEMIC PROSPECTS.

**Activities:** The Education Trust works with students in Oldham, often those working under difficult circumstances, to encourage them to raise their educational aspirations and performance. Recognition for effort and performance is given by the award of financial prizes. This involves working with some local secondary schools, the Oldham College, the local Sixth Form College and the University Centre Oldham
