**Objects:** THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS CAUSED BY STREPTOCUCCUS A INFECTIONS, ESPECIALLY IN RELATION TO CHILDREN, BY MAKING INFORMATION AVAILABLE TO THOSE AFFECTED BY IT AND THE PUBLIC IN GENERAL AND SUPPORTING ORGANISATIONS PROMOTING RESEARCH INTO SUCH INFECTIONS AND THE PUBLICATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.

**Activities:** Various fund raising events are held during the year, such as a 5-a-side tournament, sponsored marathons, 3 Peaks Challenge etc. Funds are provided to support research groups working on Strep A prevention, diagnosis and cure. Research results are published in the public domain as relevant. Information on Strep A and related topics is given out at each event and on the charities web site.
