In carrying out this duty, they consult with elder5 and community leaders for their views and recommendations, This process helps ensure that new trustees are respected and trusted mernber5 of both the falth and the local community and promotes positive relatlonships betw@en the Mosque and the wlder cornmunily il Serves. Trustèes glve their time freely and receive no remuneration or other financial bèneflt. To support the effective and efficient runnlng of the chariri, the tTustee5 have estab115hed a few Sub-committees to oversee specific areas of the charitvs work. Sub-commlttees are currently in place for financial overslght and for the day-to-day manigement of the charivs bulldings. These Sub-committees report their findings and recommendatlons to the full meeting of trustees. Each sub-commlttee meets six time5 per year, on alternate monrhs. The Chair of the Trustees chairs both sub-carnmittees, and membership is determlned by the skills and experience that trustee5 can contrlbute to their work. In addition, through the generous support of the community and the hard work of volunteers, the charity successfully ra15ed the funds required to purchase the building. Program ort the Qurfan: Over the past year5, we have been honoured to host vislts from renowned Qurfan reciters and scholars, with events attracting over 4CKI attendees. Donations are 8lven for a variety of purposes, Includlng helping those in need and supporting the spread of Islamic teachlng5. While Musllms are not requlred to glve donations through the Mosque, we provide the opportunlty for those aitending to contrlbute, and we mana8e its collectlon and distributlon for approved charitable purposes. The Mosque's Donation Committee oversees thls process, ensuring that all donations are used appropriately. No part of these donatlons 15 used to fund the Mosque Itself, and the Mosque charges nothing for the collection or distribution of donations. RESERVE POUCY The charity reserves policy is to maintain unrestricted funds at a level which equates to approximately twelve moDths unrestricted expenditure. This provides sufficient funds to cover mana8ement, admlnlstration and 5UPPOrt costs. RISK MANAGEMENT The trustee5 actively review the major rlsks faced by the Mosque on a regular basis.
