**Objects:** TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION THROUGH THE PROMOTION OF SKILLS RELEVANT TO MEDIEVAL PALAEOGRAPHY AND TO PROMOTE THE STUDY OF AND RESEARCH INTO MEDIEVAL DOCUMENTS AND SOURCES, PARTICULARLY, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, RELATING TO NORTH WEST ENGLAND AND NEIGHBOURING COUNTIES WITH THE DISSEMINATION OF USEFUL RESULTS.

**Activities:** To advance public education through the promotion of skills relevant to medieval palaeography, and to promote the study of research into medieval documents and sources, particularly, but not exclusively, relating to North West England and neighbouring counties, with the dissemination of useful results.
