Activities
The Association provides training in respiratory physiology for respiratory physiologists and associated professions. Courses are provided at a reduced cost for members of the Association. We also represent our members at national level at organisations such as the Department of Health, British Thoracic Society. Important information is disseminated to members via mailshot and email forum.
Objects: To Advance For The Public Benefit The Service And Practice Of Respiratory Physiology And Allied Subjects By:(a) Delivering And Promoting Education And Training Programmes To Ensure Competence To Practice; (B) Establishing Relevant Standards Of Practice; (C) Promoting Audit And Research; And (D) Promoting Advances In Diagnostic, Treatment And Care Of Patients With Respiratory Disease.
