|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|**1.**<br>**The Trust supported the creation**<br>**of a new International NGO in**<br>**Tanzania to enable the project to**<br>**expand across Tanzania and East**<br>**Africa.**<br>**2.**<br>**The Trust was re-registered as**<br>**SAFI (Seeing Ability First**<br>**International) and its objects**<br>**revised to support work in East**<br>**Africa**<br>**3.**<br>**Because of the spread of Covid in**<br>**Tanzania, and the consequential**<br>**sharp decline in tourists visiting**<br>**the workshop, the Trust held a**<br>**campaign which raised £27,126 to**<br>**enable staff in Iringa to make and**<br>**donate PPE to local Health**<br>**institutions. This ensured**<br>**continuing employment of tailors**<br>**with disabilities and the broader**<br>**support of Public Health in**<br>**Tanzania.**<br>**4.**<br>**A Grant of £75,000 was received**<br>**to enable the project to develop**<br>**further in East Africa. Some of**<br>**this was used to begin developing**<br>**online marketing, and to**<br>**investigate opening a shop in Dar**<br>**es Salaam.**<br>**5.**<br>**£22,502 was received to support**<br>**the running costs of the Project**<br>**and £4,239 to support the**<br>**provision of housing, Football**<br>**and the maintenance of tricycles**<br>**for people with disabilities**|
