## **ANNUAL REPORT PIERS HARRINGTON FOUNDATION – 2021-22** 

The following commitments were made in 2021/22.  These commitments align with the aims of the charity which are to focus: 

On a mixture of **Individual** Respite (the founding reason for the Foundation); 

Provide funding to **organisations** that support people with Motor Disorders focusing on ‘non curricular/quality of life activities. 

Providing support to Juveniles and **Young Adults** with Cerebral Palsy. 

**Income** .  £38567.59 

**Expenditure** .  The funding ratios would remain fluid and projects in the above categories considered on a case by case basis. 

|Playaway|Individuals – 2022<br>Programme|£780|Agreed to provide<br>assistance to individual<br>families who struggle to<br>fund the personal<br>contribution.  Estimated but<br>only to be paid on a case by<br>case basis.|

This sum is<br>£4000 for 2020 (chq not<br>presented in year) and<br>£8000 for 2021  This sum<br>will fund a total of 18 places<br>in 2021.  It was agreed to<br>support this for 3 years at<br>£8000 starting 2021.|
