A civic society which monitors planning applications, promotes high standards of planning and architecture and stimulates interest in the history and traditions of the town.

Objects: To Promote For The Benefit Of The Public The Conservation, Protection And Improvement Of The Physical And Natural Environment Of The Town Of Woodbridge And The Parish Of Melton, Including Their Immediate Environs.to Advance The Preservation Of Features Of Historic Or Public Interest In Woodbridge And Melton And To Promote Civic Pride In Them. To Promote High Standards Of Planning And Architecture In Woodbridge And Melton, And To Encourage Development That Is Sympathetic With Their Character, And To Give Advice And Information In This Regard. To Advance The Education Of The Public In The History Of And Conservation, Protection And Improvement Of The Physical And Natural Environment Of Woodbridge, Melton And Their Environs.
