The Association provides help to those in need by reason of being sick, housebound, aged or disabled. We provide a voluntary car service for transport to clinics, hospitals, health centres, dentists and other medical facilities; a visitor service for lonely or housebound; assistance in the collection of prescriptions.

Objects: The Relief Of The Public In Chagford, Drewsteignton, Gidleigh, Throwleigh, Hittesleigh And Spreyton And Those Registered At Chagford Health Centre Who Are In Need By Reason Of Being Sick, Housebound, Aged Or Disabled And Who Face Difficulties In Using Public Transport, In Particular But Not Exclusively By The Provision Of:1) A Voluntary Car Service For The Transport Of These Persons To Clinics, Hospitals, Health Centres, Dentists & Other Medical Facilities:2) A Visitor Service For Lonely Or Housebound Persons;3) Assistance With Household Tasks;4) Assistance In The Collection Of Prescriptions Or Domestic Supplies.
