**Objects:** TO PROMOTE GOOD RACE RELATIONS, THE ELIMINATION OF DISCRIMINATION AND THE PROMOTION OF EQUAL OPPORTUNITY AMONG ALL RESIDENTS LIVING WITHIN THE LOCAL AUTHORITY AREA OF SOUTHEND-ON-SEA ESSEX AND ITS NEIGHBOURHOOD, BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER WITH THOSE RESIDENTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITY, VOLUNTARY AND COMMUNITY ORGANISATIONS TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND PROVIDE INFORMATION, ADVICE AND OTHER RELATED CHARITABLE FORMS OF SUPPORT.

**Activities:** SEMF communicates wth the local community, gathering views on local issues and working to identify and address areas of importance and concern in a mutually supportive environment, holding open evenings, social events, hosting health fairs, educational initiatives and liaising with public and private sector agencies and partners in the area of domestic violence and other social/family issues
