Is an evening show in the summer at the Steam Museum. It is an inch￿1Ve ￿1Ve group of organi58tion9 from

¢on¢epts based on the Jules Verne storyy the audience were taken on a journey of discovery focussing on feelings and
how important they are. Perfonnin8 in 10 venues to delighted audiences of over IOCN) people, this was such a posttive
siaii to post Covid prtyluctions.
After such long periods of lockdown and with many of our members having to Shie￿ weekly drama se&sion$
¢ontinued throughoui the whole yew and attendan¢e Dumbers increased &$ Covid-19 subsided and por¢icipants'
confidence to mix S￿lalIY grew.
Throughoul th¢ year PTC had opptrtuniiies to tske W in several otherpufmances, expertly led by Kerry
Booman, which provided challenge, enabling participanL% to try new ideas md w(Kk with new groups. Perforniin8 at
th¢ Town Gardens with the Swindon Choral Society and oth¢r groups. to ¢cl¢brat¢ the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

In early 2023 PTC were also &5ked for their thwghts Im 'what would make Swindon great,, as part of 'My Swindon..
a consul￿10n to create a vision for people with Learning Disabilities by Swindon Borough Council. In PTC
sty1¢ th¢ group created drama to show what issucs m¢mb¢r5 of the group ¢ncounter)J as a person with a disability
and what would rnak¢ a diff¢renrx, of¢¢n th¢ 5imp1¢5t things...
In Febnwy the National Lottery Community Fund awarded a significant grant for PTC, which secured 5es5ions
for the next year. FuTrJing was also received from The Atts CounciL MidciHmti¢s Coop, RockspTiDg and SL James,
Place. this funding makes suctrL a huge difference not only to the rutining of r¢gu]ar sessions but also securing and
planning for the fithwe.

their work throughout Swind(rt) and Wiltshire.
Weekly 8es$ion$ have offered up to 15 people the opportynity to develop their artistic skills and talents. The wup
has also benefii&J from outd(MJr art activities at l(Kal plw of intere5L produ¢ing pencil drawings of the bandstand at
the Town Gardens and the Walled Garden ￿ Lydiard Park. A SrnlaT piece of amvolk also created as part of
the late Queen's Pl41irtum Jubilee celebrations. Consisting of 70 individual picturts depicting events and images
during th¢ Queen'$ reign with a 7ft tall overlay of the (￿en'S portraiL this striking and thought provoking pi¢¢¢
reflected what can be achiev¢d thrwgh wl1ab0r4ti￿, t¢amwoTk and the exm l¢ad¢rship of Billy BeAumont. The
group's work has been exhibi*d ￿ The Wyvem Theatr< Swindon Hub. Artsi* and as pan of PTC perforniance at the

At the end of January 2￿23 RIA were delighted to welcome Making It Art ba¢k to the Wyvern Theatre. Managed by
RIA, six w¢¢ks of workshops with three Schoo￿ were facilithted by contracted arts practitioners. The cu]mirwtion of
eT￿h org8nis8tion's original drdma on the therne of 'celebration' were performed in 8 matinee to an audience of
invited guests. P¢¢T5. 5UPPOrters and Mayor of Swindon Abdul Amin. PTC wformed alongside many tslented
individual$ whose m¢ssa8M and positivity r¢S(U￿ stron8ty with the audicoce.
Guided by Billy Beaumonk the Art Group created an ori8iDal1080 for Makin8 It Art ￿81￿8 their own thawing8 that
