Counsalling Servic•:
The Service supported people who were going through an
emotionally difficult time. The service targeted more for
those who were not fluent English speakers and found it
dif f icult to access mainstrearn counselling services,. the
support was therefore delivered in Farsi by phone.
In 2024-2025 IDSA provided to 16 people with disability their
career Most of the people we supported came from the Iranian

cornmunity, in regards to their age, the majority of people who
applied for service were over 35 years old.
The service allows individuals to explore their thoughts,
feelings and behaviours and learn to manage those better.
We believe that the counsellor's role is to work alongside
individuals to help them discover alternative ways to improve
their lives and resolve current and past issues.
