**Objects:** The charity’s objects (“the Objects”) are for the public benefit and are restricted  to the following:(a) to safeguard, protect and preserve the good health, both mental and physical of children and parents of children; (b) to prevent cruelty to or maltreatment of children;(c) to relieve sickness, poverty and need amongst children and parents of children;(d) to promote the education of the public in better standards of child carewithin the area of Colchester and such parts of Essex as the trustees may from time to time decide.

**Activities:** Home-Start Colchester  Jaywick and Clacton makes a real difference to the lives of children 0 - 14  years and their parents. We do this by offering bespoke family support to respond to requests for help. We invest in local people by providing training and volunteer  opportunities  so that together we can make a real difference.
