| Summary ofthe main achievements ofthe charity during the year |
Our main focus this year has been to continue to support the Brainbow Service at Addenbrookes Hospital. Anna's Hope is the major funder ofthis pioneering new children's neuro- oncology rehabilitation service and is a partnership with 2 other charities, Tom's Trust and Joshua Tarrant Trust (which replaced Camille's Appeal this year.)Anna's Hope funds Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapy, Occupational and Speech and Language Posts and is known as The Anna's Hope Therapy Team. |
| The service is now fully operational and growing and is now helping over 200 children with brain tumours each year. This service does not exist anywhere else in the UK and our aim is to prove the model for the NHS |
| to roll out nationally. | ||
| Each year Anna's Hope has negotiated increased contribution to |
| Brainbow from Addenbrookes Hospital and 100%funding has been agreed from 1 April 2023. |
| Anna's Hope continues to raise awareness in addition to fund raising through Local, Regional and National Activities and communication. |
| This includes the National Brain Tumour Awareness Day (Wear a Hat Day) and Lobbying events at the Houses ofParliament |

Anna's Hope fundraising model relies heavily on Events .Due to COVID- 19we have been unable proceed with our Annual Ball, the Anna's Hope 5K Fun Run, the London Marathon and Concerts. As a result funds raised this year have been severely impacted with circa 40% reduction vs previous years. We expect 21/22 to be even more challenging due to COVID-19. Our reserves policy has ensured commitment to our current contracts which support children with brain tumours until 31 March 2023. |
| supported the key objectives ofthe charity; ~ investment policy and objectives including any ethical investment policy adopted. |
Each year we strive to ensure all monies raised goes directly to funding the charities aims. We aim to cover all fundraising costs through sponsorship. Admin costs are paid by Rob and Carole Hughes (Co- Founders and Trustees). We therefore can continue to support our claim that Every Penny donated goes to funding the charity's aims. |

| We are in the 7th year offunding The Anna's Hope Therapy Team with Addenbrookes Hospital and our current commitment is until 31 March 2023 . |
