2024 was another busy and successful year.
We contlnued to run two cholr5, Northampton Male Volce Cholr {NMVC) and NMVC Lite.
Both cholrs rehearsed regularly durfng the year and both cholr5 perfornied In concerts and In
festivals.
We carried out a major recruitment campalgn In the first half of the year by challenglng the
rnen of Northamptonshlre to joln us to ra15e money for Prostate Cancer UK. We had a
fantastic response. After an Intensive 10 week perlod of rehearsals, the volunteers sang In
two concerts one with NMVC and another, In Nottlngham, wlth NMVC and 4 other choir5
who were also recruiting in the same way. The 5 choirs between them raised over £90,000
for Prostate Cancer UK. Our 5uccesful recultment resulted In 28 new members for the cholr.
We perfomied at 31 events during the year. A number of the concerts were performed to
help local charitles and good causes ra15e funds. Money ralsed by those organi5atlons from
our perforrnances Is estlmated at £8000.
For our tour we enjoyed 3 day3 performlng at the LLangollen Internatlonal Elsteddfod and on
the way there we performed in Chester Cathedral.
