**Objects:** *  TO PROMOTE THE PERSONAL, SOCIAL, PHYSICAL AND MORAL DEVELOPMENT OF YOUNG PEOPLE IN SHEFFIELD AND IN PARTICULAR IN THE HANDSWORTH DISTRICT WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF AGE, DISABILITY, HEALTH STATUS, RELIGIOUS OR POLITICAL AFFILIATION, RACE, SEX OR SEXUAL ORIENTATION BY ASSOCIATING THE LOCAL AUTHORITY, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS AND THE LOCAL INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO: (1) ADVANCE EDUCATION, (2) PROTECT HEALTH AND (3) PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION SO THAT THEY MAY GROW UP TO FULL MATURITY AS INDIVIDUALS AND MEMBERS OF SOCIETY.*  TO PROMOTE OTHER SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE.

**Activities:** At present the Vine currently operates a primary activity stream (Friday night Youth Drop-In) designed to work with young people in the community and provide opportunities for social and educational development as well as providing a safe place for young people to grow and express themselves.  The Vine also works with other organisations and provides ad-hoc and short term structured activities.

**Area of benefit:** IN SHEFFIELD, PARTICULARLY IN THE HANDSWORTH DISTRICT.
