**Objects:** THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ARE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC IN BRIGHTON, HOVE AND THE SURROUNDING AREAS BY THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN THE ARTS OF MUSIC, SPEECH, DRAMA, THE VISUAL ARTS AND DANCE IN ALL THEIR BRANCHES.

**Activities:** To advance education, particularly through the development, promotion and encouragement of the arts in Brighton,Hove and the surrounding areas; to promote the Festival Fringe during the period of the Brighton Festival each year,aiming to encourage the development and quality of new venues and work at all scales.
