**Objects:** THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN PARTICULAR BY:3.1 PROMOTING INTEREST IN THE HISTORY AND HERITAGE OF TEIGNMOUTH, SHALDON AND THE SURROUNDING DISTRICT ('THE AREA');3.2 MAINTAINING AND DEVELOPING THE MUSEUM FOR THE AREA; AND3.3 A PROGRAMME OF LECTURES, DISPLAYS, DISCUSSIONS AND VISITS TO EXTEND KNOWLEDGE OF THE AREA AND OF HISTORY IN A WIDE CONTEXT

**Activities:** Teign Heritage is a local museum, run entirely by volunteers. Our education team offers themed visits and loan boxes to local schools and heritage-based activities for very young children. Our fully equipped room is available for hire to community groups. Other facilities include toilets, a lift and roof terrace. Our team of archivists respond to enquiries and produce new temporary exhibitions.
