Activities

Silverdale Community Centre provides a place where all ages of the community come together to take part in a number of activities. Senior Citizens, Pre-school, Bowling, Ladies Section, Brownies, Cubs, Scouts, Karate and Dancing School are a few activities on offer.The Community Association work together to managed the building and provide the best possible facilities for the the users.

Objects: A. To Promote The Benefit Of The Inhabitants Of Silverdale And The Neighbourhood Together Defined By The Area Whose Boundaries Can Be Defined By Fairham Brook, The A453 And The Nottingham City/rushcliffe Borough Council Boundary South Of Beckett School (Hereinafter Called 'The Area Of Benefit') Without Distinction Of Sex, Sexual Orientation, Race, Physical And Mental Disabilities Or Of Political, Religious Or Other Opinions, By Associating Together The Said Inhabitants And The Local Authorities, Voluntary And Other Organisations In A Common Effort To Advance Education And To Provide Facilities In The Interests Of Social Welfare For Recreation And Leisure-Time Occupation With The Object Of Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Said Inhabitants;b. Establish Or Secure The Establishment Of A Community Centre (Hereinafter Called 'The Centre') And To Maintain And Manage The Same (Whether Alone Or In Co-Operation With Any Local Authority Or Other Person R Body) In Furtherance Of These Objects.c. Promote Such Other Charitable Purposes As May From Time To Time Be Determined.the Association Shall Be Non-Party In Politics And Non-Sectarian In Religion.
