The ARNI (Actlon for Rehabilbtatlon from Neurologlcal Inluryl Instltute Charlty provldes an e55enllal national communlty-lntegratlon pathway and support network for people after hospital discharyt, which comes sometimes after lust slx weeks. The Charlty rnatche5 survivors wlth Its speclallsl therapists and instructors who then help to rehabilitate over the Ion8-term. The Charlty ha5 measured impart in terms of efficary: Exeter Universlty, Brunel Universlty and Brighton & Su55ex Medical khool research teams have carried out randomised controlled trials which show that the team of over 140 ARNI professlonal tralners and therapists are being effertive in dramatlcally cutting Costs In terms of ambulance call-outs and hire of carer5. Further, that stroke and acqulred injury patients who use the ARNI service improve significantly in terms of mobility, range of movement, action Control, stren8ih, confidence and qu41ity of life.. and Most often reduce the requirement for carers and physical assistors.

Independent Examiner's Report to the Trustees of The ARNI Institute For the year ended 31st March 2025 I report on the accounts of the charlty for the year ended 31st March 2024 which are set out on pages I to 4. Respertlve responslbllltle$ of truste and examlner The charlty's trustees are responslble for the preparation of the accounts, The charlty's trustees consider that an audtt Is not required for this year under sertlon 144{21 of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an independent examlnatlon is needed. It is my responslblllty to: • examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act follow the procedures laid down in the General Directions glven by the Charlty Commlsslon under sectlon 145{5llbl of the 2011 Act; and • state whether partlcular matters have come to my attentlon Basls of Independent examlner's statement My examinatlon was carried out In accordance wlth General Dlrections given by the Charlty Commlssion.
