Dreamcatcher In5pirotlonol Workshop
All our evening classes are well subscrlbed and we continue to offer special classes with
Hospitality English and our Dream Catcher development courses. We are dellghted to
extend our teachlng week to include weekend English and IT classes with more to come in
the future

School Director Jeannette continues to be busy with regular Ilbrary classe5 to extend
student skills.
Jeannette is also keen to support students and very excited to donate a laptop to one of
our students preparing for exams.
Sadly, the number of students available for daytime classes has reduced to non-viable
numbers and in the short term we have closed daytlme teaching. The good news Is that
we have increasing demand for weekend classes and we plan to extend the number of
weekend classe5 for English. IT and Environmentsl Studies.
Life is always exciting at LEOT a5 we look forward to the future and a new MOU.
We are proud we are a free school and have places for all disadvantaged students
Community School Building
LEOT Community Manager Niew has enjoyed another successful year building 2 rural
Primary Schools in Pak Ou District and repalring a further 5 schools with new roots and
palnting, Inside and out. We have now built 14 primary schools and plan to build more in
the next year. The stock of buildings in rural Lao is poor. We are proud of our work to date,

Presents

Sadly, we are Ilmlted to the funds we have available. Wlth rn0￿ funding we could make a
larger dlfference to villages with inadequate schoo15. Please help us with your donations.
At the end of every projert, we have a handover event and present every child with a bag
of presents. It makes a great deal of dlfference to very poor families and gives children a
school uniform, Shoes and books.
LEOT Sewing School
Il¥
Our Sewing School and Is unlque in caring for dlsadvantaged women. The school has a
beginner class and a workroom for advanced students to prattlce garment making and
extend their skills to more advanced clothlng production.
Our courses run for 5 months and glve students the skills to find a job or stsrt their own
workrooms. Our beginner class is for 20 students and teaches the skills of dying, pattern
makingi machine sewlng and maklng of handlcraft items for the tourist trdde. Our
advanced course is smaller withlo students. They require more space as they spend most
of their tirne making orders for customers.
Each year we run 4 courses teaching a total of 60 women. We give them life changlng skllls
to Improve thelr Ilves.
We also give additional help to students setting up their own small workshops, provlding
them with essential equipment from sewing machlnes to button hole machines.
Our sewing courses are provided free of any charge. Please help us change more Ilves by
