The Rotary Club of Leigh Charitable Trust

Minutes of Trustee Meeting at Abbeyfield on Mon 23” February 2026

Chairman - Secretary Brian Mills

Attended by: Peter Bentham, Mike Norris

APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE: Chris Stephenson, Frank Bowker, Vince Hankinson,

The meeting was convened to discuss the previous year's results and performance (Rotary Year 24/25 from 1* July 2024 to 30° Jume 2025)

During the year £30058 was raised mainly through the Christmas Santa Sleigh Collection plus various specific fund-raising events. Donations to charitable groups and organisations amounted to £32763 leaving a balance of £13725 for future donations.

It was considered that we need to increase our activities to find further projects to support, so as not to hold excess amounts in the bank.

Various new projects have come to fruition since the end of the year in question and we will be repeating our funding initiative to a wide variety of organisations has commenced, which was so successful last year. The Trustees are satisfied that the Club is covering all manners of Charitable Organisations and worthy causes.

Furthermore, all Trustees, apart from Chris Stephenson are members of the Club Council and are therefore very involved in any discussions and decisions about fund raising and subsequent donations and practical projects.

Any Other Business: None

DATE OF NEXT TRUSTEE MEETING: 8" June 2026 at Abbeyfield.
