1. Objectives and Activities
To pursue the Objects of Rotary and cary out successful service projects based on the
Five Avenues of Service. These indude improving the quality of life of those WI￿ live in the
locality. Part[￿laty helping young arKI old people. the disadvantaged and needy and the
improvement of community facilities.
The trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by Ihe Charity Commission on public
benefit
2. Achievements and Perforniance
Over the financial period, donations were given to over 24 vetted organisations, a good
organisations. The fvnds were raised locally and donated to local groups. Additional funds
were raised by hdding speofic events. to supp(xt ovep&eas projeds. whith benefitted from
Grants received fr￿} Rotary Foundation (Rotary Internati￿.5 Charity).
3. Financial Review
The finances are in a strong position as funds are raised each year and we aim to donate
following y&ar.

The Charlty is managed in accordance with the Stsndard Rotary GB & I Club Constitution.

The meetlng was convened to dlscuss the wevlous results and perfmance (Rotary Year 23124 from I" Juty
2023 to 30 June 2024)
During the year £26586 was raised mainfy through the Christmas Santa Sleigh Collection plus various specific fund-
raising events. Donations to charitable groups and organisations amounted to £28403 le3￿n8 a balance of £16430
for future donations.
It was considered that we need to increase our activities to firKI further projects to support, so as not to hold excess
amounts inthe bank
Frank Bowker, Community Service Chairnian, reported that various new projects have come to fruition since the end
Trustees are satisfied that the aub is covering all manners of Charitable Organisations and worthy causes.
Furthermore. all Trustees. apart from Chris Stephenson are members of the aub Council and are therefore very
involved in any discussion5 and deci5ion5 about fvnd ra￿ing and 5ub5equent donations ar￿ practical projects.
