Members of the Church are accepted In accordance with the Constitutlon whlch requlres to be

Relevant mattets may be submltted to the Church meetyng by the Trustees for guldance, or
may be ralsed by members In Church meeting for further conslderatlon by the Trustee.
Though the Constitutlon pemilts dedsion5 to be made at Church meetlngs by approprlate
majorltles, the Church seeks to work by consensus Whe￿Ver po551ble.
In order to achleve the Prfndpal objectlve whlch Is set wt above, the Church provldes
varfety of actlvltles both to Its membershlp and to the communlty generally.
The alm Is to show the love of Jesus Christ In both word and deed and to brfng people Into a
closer relatlonshlp wlth Our Lord Jesus Chrtst as Ilvlng Lord.
Central to the work and wltness of the Church Is the provlslon of regular publlc serv1￿5 of

or at the Sunday services of worship.
The Church operates systems to ensure that all people W0￿1ng wlth thlldren and
vulnerable adults are appmprlately vetted wth reoard to the Crfmlnol Records Bureau.
The churth ha5 read the Charfty CommI551on guidance on public beneflt, and Is sat15fied that
the attlvities outlined above clearly demonstrate that the charlty is providlng a benefit to the
public.

Achlevements and Perforn￿nce
Thls Is to welcome ourselves to 2023 Annual General Meetlng and It has been another
challenging year for the CCC Horeb Of G(xl Parish.
We are a church that serve our God and extend hand of fellowship to the community and
especlally the vulnerable old and young people.
Can I remlnd us all that we have increased new arrlvals who a￿ student and sometlmes some
on Job vlsa but wlthout family In the United Klngdom who needs all sorts of support, we need
to brace up for thi5 new arrlval in the year coming.
The resources both technlcal and human are Increaslngly becomlng dauntlng and hence the
need to thlnk of cost to Improve In this area.
I cannot pralse you all enough for the dedication and selflessness you have exhlblted all these
times.
A huge thank you to all the parlshloners for your continued support and you have really gone
the extra mlle."
The Church has evolved so much and we now reallze that the young people are now growlng
to become young adult and there is need to guide them propedy Into useful. pragmatlc adult
via splrltual path and professlonal guidance hen￿ the need to traln members to support the
youth.
Obvlously, a busy year wlth Increased average of Prayer and fastlng for the mernbers and even
the communlty.
We spent substantSal amount of rnoney to support famllles In the communlty and In the local
Hospitals especlally Newham General where we dlstrlbuted Pampers, Wipes and sanltary pads
to vulnerable parents of new bables, we are also on ground In some local communltle5 to feed
and traln young girls and boys In sklll acqulsltlon such as pasty, palntlngi and event plannlng
through FOREHOREB UK.
We need fundlng to stay afloat as people needs are not only prayers, we need to support
the communlty MO￿ vla feedlng and other charltable actlvitles.
We wlll look Into Learnlng and Organlzlng opportunltles for our members and thls wlll be
developed throughout thls 2024.
Our charlty status demands that we funrtlon more effettlvely, thls means reachlng out to both
Immedlate and overseas communltles.
There Is a greater need which are very presslng In the ft)Ilowlng areas:.
Adolescent Issues In the black communlty.
l. Women and Slngle parents
2. Eldedy care
3. HoMele￿nesS & StatIstl￿ both locally and natlonally palnt grfm Images In comparlson to
the reallty of these situatlons in the comrnunitles.
We cèn never truly see the Impart of these Issues unless we are present In these areas
ourselves.
I belleve that It Is ￿rne for us as a chartty organisation to look further afield for 5UPPOrt from
other well-meaning organlsatlons as to ease the burden on our own flnandal sltuatlon.
We are also campalgnlng for changes In all strats of Mankino.
We thank the elders for the hard work and supp)rt which we once again, I know all of us are
dolng our best and we should not be daunted by the enonnlty of the thallenge that we fa￿.
It Is my hope and prayer that your individual efft)rt shall not go in vain.
Over the years CCC Horeb of God Parlsh. has focused her attentlon not only on the

spidtual growth of Its members but also on thelr personall psychol¢)gical and soclal well-being.
Thls Is made more prominent because of modem day challenges that Is faclng not only the
adults but chlldren and youths of today.
There Is a great rise in mental b￿akdOWn and suth challenges are what people fa￿ today,
and help Is non-existent or not adequate.
We can assert that we are flnanaally overstretched this year and that we are cash strapped as
a ￿SuIt, what wlth the cost of runnlng the church vls a vis ￿nt, str.pend and bills.
But as a church we cannot fold our hands and feel unconcemed.
Flnallyi I want to thank all for steertng thls church to thls helght.
The report has been to thank people and hope thls 2024 wfill be a successful and bountifijl
Year,
Thank You
Parish Shepherd
