Horeb of God Parlsh Is a rented Property and we are strlvlng to buy a property that wlll help to
maxlmlze our charftable functlons (trnlnlng, educatlonal and semlnars).
Members of the Church are accepted In accordan￿ wlth the Constltutlon whlch requlres to be
baptlzed after one Year
Members are encouraged to take an approprfate part In the splrltual and practlcal tasks
Involved In furtheran￿ of the thadtable objectlve.
Relevant matters may be submltted to the Churd) meetlng by the Trustees for guldance, or
may be ralsed by members In Churth meetlng for further conslderatlon by the Trustee.
Though the Constltutlon pemilts declslons to be made at Church meetlng5 by approprlate
majorttles, the Church seeks to work by consensus wherever posslble.
In order to achleve the prlnclpal objertlve whlch Is set out above, the Church provldes a
varlety of actlvltles both to Its membershlp and to the communlty generally.
The alm Is to show the love of Jesus Chdst In both word and deed and to brfng people Into
closer relatlonshlp wlth Our Lord Jesus Chrlst as Ilvln9 thrd.
Central to the work and wltness of the Church Is the provlslon of regular publlc serv1￿5 of
Chrfstlan worshlp, These servlces take place each Sunday 10:00am, Wednesday 7:00pm and
Blble Class After Frlday: 7.. 00pm
There are also occaslonal servlces at other tlmes whlth are advertlsed on the Church Notlce
Board.
There Is a full chlldren's programme durlng the Sunday serrflces.
The church seeks to be a frfendly and welcomlng cornrnunlty and anybody Is free to attend any
of these servlces and Semlnars.
The 3rd Sundays of the Month Is set aside for full Youth Partldpatlon In Semon, Evangelical
and Prophetlc ServI￿s and Semlnars.
The Church runs a serfes of house groups for the growth of falth and dlsdpleshlp In the homes
of some members, and further deta115 of these can be obtalned from the Trustees on request,
or at the Sunday servlces of worshlp.
The Church operates systems to ensure that all people worklng wlth chlldren and
vulnerable adults are approprlately vetted wlth regard to the Crlmlnal Recortls Bureau.
The church has read the Charlty Commlsslon guldance on publlc beneflt, and Is satlsfled that
the artlvltles outllned above clearly demonstrats that the charity is providing a benefit to the
publlc.

A¢hlevem¢nts and Performanee
We welcome you all to thls Annual General Meetlng and It has been another thallenglng year
for the Pamsh.
We are not Just a churth to serve our God but also to extend hand of fellowshlp to the
community and especlally the vulnerable old and young people.
As we are aware we offer servlces/prayer sesslon at awkward Umes vlrtually for the needy, we
also have new arrlvals who are student In the Unlted Klngdom who needs all sorts of sUPPOrt,
thls Is to Infomi and encourage ourselve5 of the needs ahead.
The resources both technlol and human are Increaslngly becomlng dauntlng and hence the
need to thlnk of cost to improve In thls area.
I cannot pralse you all enough for the dedlcatlon and selflessness you have exhlblted all these
tlmes.
A huge thank you to all the partshloners for your contlnued support and you have really gone
the extra mlle..
Very qul¢kly thls Church has evolved to enable us to ¢ontlnue to serve our Parfshloners
wlthout as much dlsruptlon as posslble.. communlcatlon wlth our members has been a prfortty
and we have been communlcatlng wlth all membets wlth sodal medla for all updates whlch
Includes WhatsApp's, Emalls, Fa￿boOk and Zoom and of recent we added Instagram (IG) the
church has been a vlslble 5UPPOrtlng member wlth all spldtual and dally living concerns."
Obvlouslyi a busy year wlth Inrnsed average of Prayer and fastlng for the members and even
the communlty..
We also bought goodSes to dlstrlbute to the famllles In the communlty, we are also on ground
In some local communltles to feed and traln young glrls and boys In sklll acqu151tlon such as
pastryi palntlng, and event plannlng through FOREHOREB UK.
The church Is back and artlvltles are revltallsed but reallty Is that we need fundlng to stay
afloat as people needs a￿ not only prayers, we need to support the communlty more vla
feedlng, charltable attivltles.
The Church wlll l¢X)k Into Learnlng and Organlzlng opportunltles for our members and thls wlll
be developed throughout thls 2023.
Collectlvely we can all make a dlfference please thlnk serfiously about becomlng a good
hrlstlan and a pragmadc one at that thls year and make the dIfferen￿ servlng the church and
the communlty.
Our charlty status demands that we funttlon more effectivelyft In the means of reachlng out to
both Immedlate and overseas communlties.
There Is a greater need whlch a￿ very pr￿ng In the followlng areas:.
Adolesont Issues In the black communlty.
l. Women and slngle parents
2. Sderfy care
3. Homelessness & Statlstlcs both locally and natlonally palnt dlfferent Images In comparfson
to the reallty of these sltuatlons In the communltles.
We can never truly see the Impact of these Issues unless vie are present In these areas
ourselves.
E belleve that It Is tlme for us as a charfty organlsaUon to look further fleld for support from
other well-meanlng organlsatlons as to ease the burden on our own financlal sltuatlon.
We are also campalgnlng for changes in all strata of Manknnd.
We thank the elders for the hard work and suptKJrt whlch we once agaln, I know all of us are
doing our best and we should not be daunted by the enormlty of the challenge that we face.

It Is my hope and prayer that your Indlvldual effort shall not go In valn.
Over the years CCC Horeb of God Partsh. has focused her attentlon not only on the splrftual
growth of its members but also on thelr personali psythologlcal and soclal wellbelng.
Thls 15 made more promlnent because of modem day thallenges that Is faclng not only the
adults but children and youths of today.
We see It has our splrttual obllgatlon to see to the wellbelng of our members prfnclpally In
supportlng them In areas they cannot access. There Is a great rtse In nervous b￿akdOWn and
mental breakdown and such o*alSenges are what people fa￿ t¢xlay* and help 15 non-existent
or not adequate, therefore the churth as a thadty entlty Is a sanctuary that people run to as
thelr last result. Thls padsh has been blessed wlth able bodled men and women who are
professlonals In thelr own calling bringlng In thelr experuse to help and asslst whenever It Is
needed. We can assert that we are overstretched this year and that we are cash strapped as a
result, what wlth the cost of runnlng the church vls a vls rent, stlpend and bllls. But as a
church we cannot fold our hands and feel unCon￿Med.
Flnally. I want to thank all for steertng thls churth, and parfshloners safely through thls
dlfflcult tlme. l appreclate that the majorlty of
thls report has been to thank people and hope thls 2023 wlll be a better Year.
Thank You
