The report of the trustees for the year ended 31 March 2024
The Directors (who are also the charws trustees) are responsible for preparing the Annual
Report and the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom
Generalty Accepted Accounting Practice.
Company law requires the Directors to prepare financial statements for each year which give
a true and fair view of the state of financial affairs of the company and of the profit and loss
of the company for that period.
In preparing those financial statements, the Directors are required to:
select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently:
make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent: and
prepare the financial statements on the going concem basis unless it is
inappropriate to presume that the company will continue in business.
stste whelh8r applicable accounting stsndards and statsments of

departures disclosed and explained in the financial statements.
The Directors, as trustees, are also responsible for maintaining proper accounting records which
disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and lo enable
them to ensure that the financial statements comply not only with the Companies Act 2006 but atso
the Charities Act 2022. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charty and

In all the activities undertaken by the Company, the Directors In their role as charity trustees have
been mindful of their statutory duty to take into account the guidance on public benefit set out in
PB1 Charities and Public Benefit - The Charity Commission's Guidance on Public Benefit.
The directors consider that for the year ended 31 March 2024, the company was entitled both to an
exemption from a statutory audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 and under section
144 of the Charities Act 2011 (Revised 2022).

out on pages 9 to 17.
Respective responsibilities of truslees and examiner

responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The trustees consider Ihat an audit is not
required for this year under section 144(2) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that
an independent examination is needed.
Having satisfied myselfthat th8 charity is not subject to audit under company law and is eligible
for Independent examination, it is my responsibilty to:
examine the accounts under section 145 of Ihe 2011 Act (revised 2022)

Basis of independent examinerfs report
My examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity

explanations from you as trustees conc8ming any such matter8.
The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit
and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounls present a 'true and fair view,
and the report is limited to those matters set out in the next stalement.
