On Novefnber 13" 2019 the declaration of trust was amended and the charity was renamed 'Together for Sheffield.. Governance and monogement The charify is governed by it5 trustee5, the minimum number at any one time being three. The trustees comprise of professionals. church leaders and philanthfopists from 3cr0s5 Sheffield. The charity employs a Chief Executive Officer and an Operations Director. Furthermore there are plans to hire a Communications and Events Manager in the nèxt financial year. Day to day running of the charity Is carried out by this team alongside a growing network of volunteers and contractors. Public benefit The trustees have given due regard to guidance published by the Charity Commission in respect of public benefit when fullillin8 rhe objectives of the ¢harity. Objectives The object ol the charity is for the public benefit - the advancement of the Christian faith in Sheffield. through facilitating meetings and gatherings and the sharing of tnformation resources across the churches in the Sheffield area. Providin8 charitable covering for city-wide Christian initiatives. ACTIVITIES This year of activity for Together for Sheffield has been a year of significant growth and development. Finances During 202012021 the Charity continued to receive from key donors as well as running a successluS crowdfundin8 campaign to support the 'Arise Sheffield, project. We have not seen the downturn in donations that many have expefienced throughout the Covid pandemic. Office The charity ha5 established an office space for meetings and day to day work in Stannin8ton, Sheffield. Throughout the various lockdown periods, employees and team members chose to work remotely from home offices. or in a hybrid manner. Unity work - The charity continue5 to facilitate and manage the budget of multiple initiatives that fit under its banner. City wide initiatives- The foundation of our work is the person of jesus Christ. We are unapologetic in our Ilegiance to him. We observe that he moves towards the mar8inalised, and therefore we seek to do the same. Togetherfor Food Provtstion Network

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic. the Together for Food Provision Network was launched at the end of March 2020. This is attended by food aid providers. Sheffield City Council representatives. advice agencie5 and other relevant agencies from across the city. The network seek to tackle food insecuflty in Sheffield bv= l. Fostering cohesion and cooperation between different food aid networks. local authority and related agencies in Sheffield. Addre55inE the source of food poverty and inspirin8 best practice through themed weekly discussion5. 3. Supportin8 coordination of city-wide emergency food provision le.8. especially during Covid-19 pandemicl. 4. Working as a collective to have a greater impact through lobbying local government and messaging. e.g. collecting supplyldemand stat15tics. Sharing resources ond infvrmotffon Together for Sheffield's shafing of resources and information across ¢hurches, ¢harities, and groups in the city. has led to a number ol charitable partnerships as well as employment due to connections made. Meanwhile. the CEO of the charity has been invited several times to share via radio about social action. city wide work and Jesu5. Together for Schoo15 . Over 1300 care pa¢ka8es have been sent to teachers across Sheffield to thank them for their hard work during the pandemic. Sheffield Busine55 Leoders Network- Has continued to meet online throughout the pandemic. Together in Prayer - This network has continued to grow and is putting plan5 in place for cross-clty gatherings. The aim of thts network is to connect Christians across the city who pray, with relevant prayer requests from those of all faiths and none. Arise ShefIield A city wide prayer and action initiative was launched with support from across denominations in Sheffield. Over 1200 people a¢ros$ 150 churches in Sheffield took part and thi5 initiative helped gain a new level of recognition for the Charity. Kickstort- TFS has become a Gateway for the Kickstart Scheme in Sheffield. in addition it has developed a urnique trainin8 programme to run alongside the scheme, to improve employment prospects and provide mentorln8. Plans for future perlods The plans for 202112022 will involve a continued ft)¢us on Social Action, Empowering Leaders and Evangelism. We hope to continue the growth and momentum the charity has achieved this year.
