Activities
Anvil supports internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Kupe Muanenguba Division of the crisis-hit Anglophone Cameroon. Through its bespoke training programmes, Anvil promotes an education that is designed for sustainable methods - skills training to improve farming methods, improve the value of the 550 hectares of (predominantly virgin) Essossong land to attract investment into the local economy.
Objects: The Relief Of Poverty In Cameroon And Sub-Saharan Africa By Supporting The Development And Transfer Of Technology Relevant To Sustaining African Village Communities With Special Emphasis On Agriculture, Food Production And Processing, Rural Engineering And Construction Of Local Infrastructures; And Promoting Principles Relating To Trade And Investment Flows Between The UK And Cameroon In The Agriculture And Food Industry Sectors And Other Areas That Benefit Small-Scale Farmers And Contribute Directly Or Indirectly To Raising Living Standards In Village Communitiesto Advance Education In The UK And Elsewhere In The World By Raising General Public Awareness Of The Objectives And Programmes Of Nepad, And Of The United Nations Mdgs Which Are Aimed At Poverty Eradication In Africa.
