Activities

The Foundation has been established to develop an endowment which will be invested to the benefit of any charitable need (individual, group and/or community) within the Malvern Hills Area. The area of benefit is defined as the land owned by the Malvern Hills Conservators and a further radius of 10 miles, as the crow flies.

Objects: The Promotion Of Any Charitable Purposes For The Benefit Of The Communities Living Within 10 Miles , As The Crow Flies, (excluding Worcester City), Of Any Part Of The Malvern Hills, Under The Control Of The Malvern Hills Conservators; Such Charitable Purposes To Include The Following Within This " Area Of Benefit".the Specific Objects Are Detailed As Follows:-(1) Helping People Who Are In Necessitous Circumstances, For Whatever Reason;(2) Promotion And Protection Of Good Health By Providing Facilities Or Services;(3) Protecting The Environment For The Benefit Of The Public;(4) Providing Community Facilities For The Public , Including Welfare Facilities, Sport, Recreation And Leisure-Time Activities Which Will Improve The Quality Of Life For People;(5) Restoring Historic Buildings And/ Or Churches And/or Buildings For Religious Worship, Of Public Importance , And /or In Public Use;(6) Advancing Education For People Of All Ages Including Providing Education And/or Training E.g To Relieve Unemployment;(7) Relieving Those Need Where The Need Results From Poverty, Disability, Old Age, Ill Health, Infirmity, Or Social Or Economic Circumstances;(8) Promoting Physical , Mental And Spiritual Improvement;(9) Providing Research For The Public Benefit;(10) Promoting Urban And/or Rural Regeneration For Public Benefit In Areas Of Social And/ Or Economic Deprivation;(11) Helping People Disabilities Secure Access To Facilities And Or Services Generally Available To The Public;(12) Any Other Charitable Purpose.
