Activities
Our aim is to provide a supportive environment for deaf parents with deaf and/or hearing children. By offering a feeling of 'I am not alone', we organise events in the England targeted at children of primary school age. We are considering new ideas involving older children.
Objects: To Relieve The Needs Of Deaf Parents And Their Children, In Particular, But Not Exclusively By:a Providing Education And Information So That Deaf Parents May Be Better Able To Educate And Raise Their Children.b Raising Of Awareness Of Issues Affecting Deaf Parents And Their Children.c Providing Workshops, Forums And General Support.d Providing Facilities Or Recreation And Other Leisure Time Occupation In The Interests Of The Social Welfare Of Deaf Parents And Their Children.e Promoting Social Inclusion Of Deaf Parents And Their Children..
