**Objects:** THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION; IN PARTICULAR TO EXTEND AND INCREASE KNOWLEDGE AND APPRECIATION OF LEARNING AND CULTURE IN ALL ITS FORMS BY THE GENERAL PUBLIC, AND ESPECIALLY YOUNG PEOPLE, AND PARTICULARLY BY THE PROMOTION OF THE ARTS, AND THE EXPLORATION OF THE HISTORY AND HERITAGE OF THE AREA OF PORTSMOUTH AND NEIGHBOURING DISTRICTS.

**Activities:** The Portsmouth Festivities aims to give the City of Portsmouth its own distinctive festival. It provides a high quality and diverse programme of events and activities which capture imaginations, celebrate diversity and reflects on the heritage value of Portsmouth. It has developed a reputation for providing cultural activities with professional artists in the City&#x27;s unique venues.
