Our services are tailored to the individual's needs and cover complex and varied medical & socio-economic issues. The charlty operates a free mobile PHC unit. community-based health screening and awareness programrhes. pays for costly medical treatment & provides door to door transport to medical appointments. The charity offers legal ald. counselling, free cooked meals, vocationaltraining, micro credit and guidance to women's self-help groups, support with educationaltuition and sponsorship foryoungwomen wishingto pursue further education. The charity has a tearn of highlytrained and experienced staff; in addition to which, volunteer MSW'S from Nagpur Unlversity SUPPOrt the charity's activities duringthe student's internship placementwithwomen in Need.The charity also has a network of medical and legal professionals in Nagpur who offertheir services at a concession rate. With regardsto fundraising initiatives, the charlty remains in regular cont8Ct with donors, providing newsletters and annual reports. Contact with Durham University's dept. of Social Justice resulted in free Improvements to the charity's website and social media plattorms. Students in Minnesota University continue to fundraise for Women in Need. Plans for the next financial year include additional efforts to promote the charity's unique services to women 8nd girls. One of the Founders has been invited to talk aboutwomen in Need in Malta and there is a greater drive to attract more supporters overthe coming year.
