In preparing those financial Statements the board is required to: - Select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently. - Make judgments and estimates that are reasonable and prudent and prepare the financial - Statements on going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the - Charity will continue in business - State whether applicable accounting standards and Statements Of recommended practice ● Have been followed, subject to any material departures and explained in financial Statements. The trustees are also responsible for maintaining adequate accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position Of the charities and enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with regulations made under the Charities Act.
