distribution in any year.
The trustees have determined that priority should be given lo maklng grants in order to offei relief lo those In
need and chariti8s that operate in pursuit of Health related actfvltiès and inilialfves.
The grant maklng prioritses are reviewed annualty, or more t)ften, if deemed appropdato by the trustees, and
there may be ehanges in accordancé the tNslees' viaw of the most effeellve application of the available
funds at any point in time. Any charMJe to the priorfties must still fvlfil the charttabbe purp08es and objects of th•

It is the policy of the charity that unreslricted funds which have not been designated for a specffiG u$e should be
maintained al a level equivalent to hyelve month's oxpgnditure. Tha Trustees consider that reserves al this level
will ensure that, in the event of a s￿￿1￿cant drop in funding. they wlll be able to continue the ehariws current
activities while consideration is given lo ways in wh￿h additional fund$ may be raised. The truste85 are aware
that the r&seFves al the reporting dats are substantially in excess of Iwelve ffrf)nths expendtlure.
The trustees hav& assessed the major risk5 to ￿lch the tharity Is eXF￿5ed and are s8tl$fied that S￿31￿m8 are In
place to mtkngate exposure to the major nsks.
The entire resour¢es of the charity are unrestrict8d and the trusloas have complete dIS¢￿tIOn ov8r Ihelr use.
During the year the incom8 from donations increased lo £82.86412021 .' £19,211).. this Increase was attribLrtable
lo a recovery In Ihe Champneys H￿loW Limited gnyjp buslness. which saw an In¢r•ase In donatlons from
customers.
Al the year end, unrestricted funds amounted to £82.758 {2021 .. £9.412).

Tho Iruslees are aware of the requirement lo adopt a reserves pollcy. They are aware Ihal suffi¢lent roserves
no¢d to be retained to covèr the charl￿$ exp6ndilure. and potential shortfalls in income. No fomal assgssment
of • suitable amount to b6 sel aside as free reserves has been agreed at prosenl but the trusle&s are aware that
the charity has no ongoing commitments or fixed overheads. A fomial reserves policy wlll be finallsed once
patt•m of operational a¢tth"ly has been establishod.
