Activities

Rowan Tree Trust trains professionals and volunteers in the art therapies: play, drama, music, painting, story-telling: and all those activities which are associated with human creative expression. The trust supports its volunteers and professionals worldwide to assist children at risk, adults at the margin, the elderly in institutions.

Objects: I) The Relief Of Persons With Special Needs, Physical, Mental Or Learning Disabilities, Or Those Who Are Elderly, From The Ethnic Minority Groups Or From Other Socially Or Economically Disadvantaged Groups By The Provision Of Workshops, Summer Camps, Creative Activities And Artistic Therapies With The Aim Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life.ii) The Promotion Of Equality And Diversity Focussing On Such Sections Of Society As Mentioned Above.iii) To Advance Education For Those In Health, Teaching And Social Care Professions And Also The Public At Large By The Provision Of Training Courses, Seminars And Conferences On Various Subjects Including Environmental Awareness, Playtherapy, Dramatherapy, Employment Opportunities, Human Rights And Disability Awareness.
