**Objects:** TO PROTECT AND ENHANCE OKEHAMPTON TOWN RIVERS AND RIVERSIDE ENVIRONMENT FOR THE BENEFIT AND ENJOYMENT OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY AND VISITORS.

**Activities:** The Okement Rivers Improvement Group (ORIG) is a voluntary organisation which undertakes activities to conserve the wildlife and amenity value of the two rivers. East and West Okement rivers. Environmental/Heritage projects include reinstatement of weir to help migratory fish. Partnerships with environment agency and West Country Rivers Trust. The public assist with river corridor litter pick ups.
