Constitution and Obla¢livos The Trust was established following the death of Richard Wilson on 25 February 2004 under the terms of his will dated 01 Mar¢h 21X)2 as amended by a deed ol variation dated 01 September 2006, with the objects of.. Donating 10 °/0 of income lo Ihe vicar and churchwardens of the parish church of Warton for the upkeep of the graveyard. bl Donating 10 QA of income to the superintendent minister of the circuit in the Melhodlsl conn6cllon for the Warton Melhodlsl Chapel. Donating 10 % of income to Warton Parish Council for annual edu¢ational grants. d) Applying 70 Vo of in¢ome of the fkjnd for the following objects as the Trustees in their absolute dis¢reli( consider lil.. The furth&rance of the religious and other charitable work of the Church of England In Lancaster, Morecambe and Carnforth and the surrounding rural areas. The furtherance of the religious and other Charitable work of the Methodist Church in Lancaster. Morecambe and Carnforth and the surrounding rural areas. Enabling parish churches in Lancaster, Morecambe and Carnforth and the surrounding rural areas to be kept in good order and repair. Enabling Methodist parishes in Lancaster. MoTecambe and Carnforth and the surroundlng rural areas lo be kept in g¢x)d order and repair. Helping young people resident in Lancaster, Morecambe and Carnforth and the surrounding rural areas so as to develop their physical, mental and spidlual capacilles that they may grow lo full malurily as individuals and members of society. Awarding scholarships, exhibitions, bursaries or rllainlenan¢ts ¥lbwan¢Ès tènablè lo any school or other educational establishmenl approved by the Iruslees lo persons under the age of 18 years who are r6sidenl in Lancaster, Morecambe and Carnforth and the surrounding rural areas. Various charities and individuals have b6nefitled from the support of the Trust in accordance with ils obje¢liv8S. Applications for funding are welcomed from charities and individuals in Lancaster, Morecarnbe, Carnforth and the surrounding rural areas and donations of £36,34412025.. £23,849) have betsn made during the year. Al the year end the charity had lolal monetary and non-monetary assets of £1.289.212 {2025.. £1.127,4741. Reserves Pollcy The Capital reserve is held wilh the purpose of generating lulure income. The income reserve is to be distributed in a¢¢ordan¢e with the object sel out in the governing document. Any unspent income is carried forward fordistribulion in future periods.
