Vidyapith builds up and maintains a fund and utilises this fund to support projects in educational institutions, particularly in poor and backward areas. Its objective is the advancement of education by awarding grants to fund facilities and services that will improve educational provision for children and young students in need.

Objects: 2.2 The Objects Of The Trust Are, Within The Area Of Benefit:2.2.1 The Advancement Of Education By The Making Of Grants To Pay For Educational Provision At Primary Or Secondary School Level For Persons In Necessitous Circumstances;2.2.2 The Advancement Of Education By The Funding Of Services Which Will Improve Educational Provision At Primary Or Secondary School Level Of Persons In Necessitous Circumstances;2.2.3 The Relief Of Distress By The Making Of Grants, For The Relief Of Sick, Disabled And Infirm People In Necessitous Circumstances.2.2.4 Such Other Objects Beneficial To The Community, Being Both Wholly Charitable And Also In Keeping Of The Objects Above, As May From Time To Time Be Approved By A Written Resolution Of The Trustees, With The Concurrence Of The Commission Where This Is Required.2.3 The Area Of Benefit Is India And In Particular Although Not Exclusively, West Bengal.
