Objectives and organlsvdtlon:
The object of the twst is to distsibute income andlor Capit￿ for Charitsble pUn￿seS or to charitable
insti￿tiOnS as the trustees may in their absolute discretion from tim¢ to time deterniine.
The income of the trust is derived from its investments and from funds on deposit. The trustee8
m¢¢t r¢gularly to consider appeals for fmancial assistance and agree the amounts to be donated in
each we.
Th¢re hav¢ been no changes during the year to the objectives of the tntst or to the policies adopted
in order to achieve those objcctives.
Investment powers:
The trnstees have unr¢strict¢d powers of investmcnt.
Reviejv of the year:
A¢counts for the year end¢d 5 April 2023 are attached to this report. The trustees confirm that the
accounts comply with current statutory requirements and with the tern)s of the testator's Will.
thjring the year the trustees received gross incom¢ of £44,51 l from investments and cash deposits.
Athninistration expenses amounted to £7,233. In a￿ordanCe with the Tn￿t objectives, 4 donations
were made amounting to £33,500.

make donations to charitable purposes as and when funds are availablc.

Risk management:
The trust is mainly invested in stocks and shares and the tn)stecs do not
consider there is a need for a riskmanagementpolicy. apart from monitoring
the perfomiance of the investment managers.
Slatsment of Trustees, Responsibilltles
The Tn￿teeS are responsible foT preparing the TNstees' Report and the financial statements in
accordance with applicablc law and United Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom
Generally Accepted Accounting Prnctice}.
The law applicable to clLarities in England apd Wales requires the Trustees to prcpare financial
statements for each fInancial year which give a trne and fair view of ihe state of affairs of the
charity and of the incoming resouTces and application of resources of the Charity for that p¢riod.
In preparing these finanrial statements,'the Trnstees are requir¢d to..
select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently;
observ¢ the methods and principlcs in the Charities SORP.
make judgements and eslimates that are rcasonable and prndent;
state wheth¢r applicable ac￿uThting standards have been followe¢ subject to any material
depa￿re3 that must be disclosed and explained in the fmancial statements; and
prepare the financial statements on a going conccrn basis unless it is inappropriate to
presume that the Charity will continue in operatAOn.
The Trustees are responsible for kttping sufficient accounting records wbich di￿10se with
reasonable a¢curacy at any time the financial position of the Charity and enable them to ensure
that the financial statements comply with the Charities Act 2011, the Charity (Accounts and
Reports) Regulations 21M18 and the provision of the Charity's Constitution. They are also
rcsponsxble for safeguarding the assets of the Charity and hence for taking reasonablc steps for the
prevention and detection of fraud and other irr¢gularities.

l report to the trustees on my examination of the ac£ounts of the Trnst for the year ¢ndcd 5 April
2023, which are set out on pa8¢8 5 to 8.
Responslbilities and basis of report
As trustees of the charity you ￿e responsible for the pryaration of the accounts in acwrdance
with the requirem¢nts of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act).

the Chatity Commission under section 145(5)Ib) of the 2011 Act.

The financial statements have been prepar¢d in ￿cOrdanCe with the Cbarities Act 2011
and Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice
applicabl¢ to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial
Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republi¢ of Ireland (FRS 102) (as
amended for accounting periods commencing from l January 2016).
Th&charity is a Public Benefit Entity as defin¢d by FRS 102.
The ¢harity has taken advantage of the provisions in the SORP for charities applying
FRS 102 Update Bulletin I not to prepare a Statement of Cash Flows.
The trustees consider that there are no material uncertainties about the ability to
continu¢ as a going concern.
