1. Working closely with Daisi (Charity No.1071762), to provide experienced and qualified arts practitioners for school-based workshops, with the costs heavily subsidised by The Helen Foundation.
- Make The Helen Foundation Arts Awards available to all schools in Teignbridge at no cost to themselves.

Trustees have established a Reserves Policy within the context of the financial and other risks that are charity faces. The Reserves Policy is to maintain financial cash reserves at a level that will enable the charity to manage the risks associated with variations year-on-year in its fund raising ability. Trustees take the view that a cash balance of at least 24 months of operation running at current levels of expenditure would ensure that short-term fluctuations in income and unexpected operational expenditure can be covered satisfactorily with no loss of benefit to young people served by the charity. |

| Balance carried in the current accounts are sufficient to fund work for two years ahead. Any surplus is invested to produce a steady reliable income for the charity. The principal sources of funding are regular donations, occasional supportive donations, collecting boxes and income from investments in ethical and sustainable funds. Responsibilities and basis of report As the charity's trustees. you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ("the Act"). I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of Ihe 2011 Act and in carying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5Xb) of the Act. Independent trhe charity's gross income exceeded £250.000 and l am qualified to examiner's statement undertake the examination by being a qualified member of [insert name of applicable listed body]].
