Community Association (LCA) has work ed
to support the residents of Longparish during

LCA worked alongside the Longparish
Parish Council and St Nicholas Church (the
parish church) form the ’Longparish Covid
Support Group’. This support group has
provided:

volunteers during the national
lockdowns

Delivered fruit and vegetable boxes
to residents

Delivered meat to residents

Provided a cash withdrawal facility

Ensured that for those who were
unable to leave their homes, errands
were completed (including collecting
prescriptions, buying provisions etc.)
The normal program of events and
entertainment was suspended during this
period, however it is planned to resume
these when it is safe to do so.
The trustees took the decision to increase
the reserves held by the LCA in case of
further ‘stress’ on the community due to the
ongoing national lockdowns.
The LCA also provides the insurance for its
volunteers to carry out various community
activities. Fundraising is through donations
at the door at the various events, alongside|
|||a nominal annual membership fee and
individual donations.
The LCA supports affiliated organisations,
either through fundraising, providing liability
cover or banking facilities. During the
reporting period, a number of campaigns
were initiated, including replacement of the
village playground, setting up of an
emergency fund and raising funds for the
Longparish Community Pub campaign.
These campaigns raised significantly more
funds that the LCA normally manages during
its operations.|

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/03/2021.
**Responsibilities and** As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the **basis of report** preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
