**Objects:** (A)  TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY OF THE LEOMINSTER CANAL.(B)  TO SECURE AND PROMOTE THE PRESERVATION, RESTORATION, IMPROVEMENT, ENHANCEMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF THE LEOMINSTER CANAL AND ITS STRUCTURES AND OBJECTS OF HISTORICAL AND INDUSTRIAL INTEREST RELATED TO THE SAID CANAL AND ITS ENVIRONS, FOR THE BENEFIT FOR THE COMMUNITIES LOCATED NEAR THE LINE OF THE CANAL AND THE PUBLIC GENERALLY.

**Activities:** Members undertake research and write papers which are shared with others. Exploratory walks and talks are conducted along with working parties to clear and repair sites where possible. Promote the canal to local people and interested parties via the means above.
