The main aims of Trinity Amateur Operatic Society are,
• To develop the artistic skills of the cast who have been with or for a number of years or those that are new to the performing
• To mentor our cast in the skills required to put on a quality production.
• To build our members' appreciation of the value of teamwork and to promote their self-

Society relies on subscriptions and ticket sales to cover its operating costs. In setting the level of subscriptions and ticket prices, the trustees give careful consideration to the accessibility oered by the Society both to potential members and the wider general public. To achieve this the society supplements income with fundraising events and grants.
Achievements and performance
The Company is run by the membership who are volunteers and receive no payment.
This year we had our concert of Miscast Musicals are our show the Addams Family. Both were very well received and a tremendous amount of eort was put into each show.
Financial review
We are pleased with the outcome of this year thanks to our concert and our main show of the Addams Family.
Both of these were achieved thanks to considerable eorts from both helpers and cast members. We were greatly assisted by sponsorship and grants.
We look forward to moving Trinity forward and continuing to put on great shows.
Signed on behalf of the trustees:
Liz Cardall

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER’S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF TRINITY AMATEUR OPERATIC SOCIETY
for the year ended 31 May 2024
I report on the accounts of the Charity (registration number 1113493) for the year ended 31 May 2024, which are set out later on in this report.
Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner
The charity’s trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts.
The charity’s trustees consider that an audit is not required under Section 144 (2) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to:
-
examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act;
-
follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission (under Section 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act), and
-
state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of independent examiner’s statement
My examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a ‘true and fair' view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
Independent examiner’s statement
In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention:
